Who We Are
Walker Aggregates, a division of Walker Industries, supplies the stone, sand and gravel products required to build communities – our roads, houses, sidewalks, schools, hospitals and parks. The limestone we quarry here in the Niagara region is used locally. Area businesses and public sector customers like the municipal and provincial governments use it to build the infrastructure that allows communities to grow.
In recent years in Niagara, our materials have been used to build:
- The Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts
- The Gale Centre Arena
- The Scotiabank Convention Centre
- Highway 405
- The Niagara Falls Airport

Walker is the only quarry operator to win the Niagara Escarpment Achievement Award. We achieved this honour twice for good stewardship relating to our quarry rehabilitation and landscaping efforts.

Our subsidiary company Harold Sutherland Construction operates an additional five quarries, ten sand and gravel pits, and an asphalt plant in the Owen Sound area.
