The Application for the proposed Upper’s Lane Quarry has been submitted and deemed complete by the City of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Region and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF). Copies of the complete applications and supporting documents are available on the City of Niagara Falls website and the Niagara Region website. Information on upcoming meetings will be posted on the Region’s website.
The Regional Municipality of Niagara has sent a Notice of Remote Electronic Open House for the proposed Regional Official Plan Amendment, Local Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment for the Upper’s Quarry.

The next step in the license application process involves reviews from the Joint Agency Review Team (JART) as well as peer reviews and Provincial Agency review. This review is expected to extend throughout the spring and summer of 2022.
